On Sunday, the LA Times ran an interesting article that focuses on the problem of rising rates of c-section and labor induction to discuss the “perinatal paradox”: as we continue to rely on more and more costly and risky interventions like c-section, too many outcomes for women and babies are worsening, instead of improving.
