high FIVE Lincoln!

My firstborn babe is five years old today.

Five. Years. Old. (sniff)

And while he's always seemed like a little man, he's just been so grown up lately. So, if you'd be so kind, please indulge this sentimental mama in a little trip down memory lane:

Lincoln when he was still just a big lump in my belly. This picture was taken just a few days before he was born.

All the hard work of labor was worth it for this perfect baby boy.

Lincoln was generally a very happy and easy-going baby. Maybe it was the rarity of his pouts that made them so stinking cute.

Or maybe they were just stinking cute.

Not much to say about this photo. I just love it.

He's always shown a deep interest in his surroundings.

He's always been a good big brother.

And always a Daddy's boy

He loves to run

He loves to go fishing

And we LOVE him!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINCOLN!

Ryan wants to know how he climbed so high in that tree?!! We love you Lincoln! Have a great day and enjoy lots of chocolate cake with caramel icing :)

Here's a secret for ya Ryan: Lincoln wasn't very far off the ground when he was in the tree-- Joe laid down on the ground to get that angle.
